And it continues… More award ceremonies and more glamorous bollywood celebrities wearing designer gowns, impeccable makeup with the latest hairstyles and some beautiful accessories raising the fashion quotient to an all time high. All roads led to the Femina Women Awards that honoured women who have worked selflessly for their community on Monday night. Many a known face came to the event, but a few stood out for their style and how well they turned out. Here is our pick of the best dressed celebrities at the awards.
Katrina Kaif:
Katrina has been missing for some time from such events, but she made up for it all by turning up looking smokin HOT. Wearing a black strapless Ports 1961 gown, with her hair pulled back, diamond earrings and subtle makeup, she made quite an impact at the event.
Aishwarya Rai:
In a Sabyasachi Resort 2015 gold embroidered black tunic with churidaars and dupatta, hair pulled back, winged tip eyemakeup, dark red lips and peep toe heels, Aishwarya looked fabulous.
Sonam Kapoor:
Sonam gets it right almost all the time and she got it right this time also. Wearing a Toni Maticevski pale pink voluminous gown, red lips, pretty eyeliner for eyemakeup and hair in twisted updo, she looked great! The Leiber minaudiere was the perfect accessory to the gown. We loved it!
Waluscha De Sousa:
Wearing a jamavar embroidered, monochrome gown by Mayyur Girotra, Waluscha looked flawless. The simple makeup and the open hair kept back in a sleek finish just added to the look.
Neha Dhupia:
Wearing a RockyS gown in black and white cut deep on the cleavage, hair in a high updo, and a bronzed makeup look with pale lips , Neha looked quite good. (The bronzed makeup caught the light a bit too much, but it was good overall.)
Amongst other celebs who came to the event were Huma Qureshi wearing a black Mayyur Girotra gown with a flowy sheer cape and Gauhar Khan in a Ken Ferns printed strapless gown.
Its always fun to see the celebrities turn out in such fabulous gowns– great way to see where the latest fashion trends are pointing towards.
